When You’re Just . . . Done

By Sodwana Bay

When You’re Just . . . Done Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding—Proverbs 3:5 Is there any belief you’ve simply gotten tired of believing? Is there any belief you’ve held onto, stubbornly, for too long now? We men are so good at holding onto things, even after they’ve shown themselves to be detrimental. Sometimes these stubborn beliefs are about God. Sometimes they’re about other people. Sometimes they’re about us. And, sometimes, it’s just time to change our minds. We can you know. What this Year Might Hold

By Sodwana Bay

What this Year Might Hold The Lord is my helper; I will not fear—Hebrews 13:6 We have an enemy, brother, and he is a liar. He “fills the world with lies” (John 8:44 MSG). He doesn’t tire of his work . . . and he is clever. He reserves certain lies, holding them, waiting for the right time and for the right men. For he knows that some of his lies are more persuasive at certain times and under specific circumstances. By Sodwana Bay

God didn’t go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted; anyone who refuses to trust him has long since been under the death sentence without knowing it. And why? Source: South African LINKHe gave his Son

A NEW NAME!

“Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel.” — Gen 32:28. “He that overcometh, I will write upon him Mine own New Name.” — Rev 3:12. THROUGH THE Bible, name stands for nature. In those wise old days, names were not given because of their euphonious sound, but as revealing some characteristic trait. Shepherds are said to name their sheep by their defects; in some cases Old Testament names seem to have been given on the same principle. It was so with Jacob.
