Date published: 23-03-2016 God’s not Dead 2 is gonna be such an amzing movie cant wait for it to come out. =) Prayer and faith in God helped Hollywood star Jesse Metcalfe get and stay sober, he has revealed. The star of God’s Not Dead 2, who is known worldwide for his roles in John Tucker Must Die, Desperate Housewives and Dallas,  told Fox411 that faith had become really important to him. “I really discovered a connection with a higher power and with God as I understand him probably five years ago when I got sober through the 12 steps of Alcoholic Anonymous,” he said. He went into rehab in 2007. He said: “A large part of that program is giving the will and character life over to God, or a God as you understand him, and prayer is also a big part of that program as well. I feel that that really helped me overcome a difficult time in my life and since then has really deepened and enriched my life in a lot of ways.” Metcalfe, 37, plays a lawyer in God’s Not Dead 2, the sequel toGod’s Not Dead, about a teacher who finds herself under attack after she answers a student’s question about Jesus by quoting Scripture. Metcalfe said: “Discovering my own faith and my own connection with God, I brought some of that emotional foundation to the character so the character would be really connected and really fighting for something on a deeper level and that the emotion would come through. It was a lot of preparation.” The movie also stars Melissa Joan Hart, Robin Givens, and Pat Boone. Givens told the same show: “I grew up without my dad. I think that role is so important and in many respects God has sort of been the only father I know. I can’t imagine not having that belief in my life.” The film’s producer David White recently defended the plot after it was criticised by atheist blogger Hemant Mehta who accused it of promoting a “fake” Christian persecution story. White told The Blaze: “It’s an interesting thing, because, if it wasn’t real, why do they get so offended by it? I don’t think it would annoy people if it wasn’t true.”

This is a story about how sometimes the ones we love the most can fail us and how it’s the people we least expect who lift us up when we fall. The Lucci quadruplets are only 19 years old, but they’ve endured so much. Bianca, Madison, Tiffany, and Paris Lucci had a picture-perfect life: a massive home in Beverly Hills, successful parents, and a pool to boot. Behind the glamorous exterior, the family was falling apart. The quadruplets’ father was extremely abusive. He constantly beat and neglected his daughters, even breaking one of their arms. Perhaps the most disturbing part is that while he would leave his daughters to starve and withhold affection, he would feed and dote on their brothers. One day, their mother told the girls she was going out to get them presents… she never came back. When the girls were 11, they were put in foster care. Each time the girls — who were separated — would find a good foster home, their father would sabotage them. He would tell their foster parents that the girls were horrible and convince the parents to reject them. Yet, the Lucci quads were resilient. In the darkest moments, strangers would extend kindness. Teachers noticed they went hungry every morning and brought them breakfast. Some foster parents treated them as though they were their own. Staff at the group home mentored them. Now the quads are sharing their story to show that when their family was nowhere to be found, their community was there to save them. They are grateful to the foster care system because they don’t think they’d be where they are now without it. Watch their triumphant story below.

Four year old Elise was sitting playing the drums at a local store when an SUV speeding at over 100 miles an hour ran into the store right over where Little Elise was. Her mom panicked, she called out to her little girl but there was no response. She feared her precious Elise was dead. But what happened next is nothing short of a miracle. To everyone’s suprise, Elise stepped out of the debris,without a scratch. The little girl told her mom she had a miraculous encounter with Jesus – He picked her up and moved her out of the way. AMEN!

Pastor Rick Warren of Saddleback Church recalled the painful ordeal of his son’s suicide during the NRB Convention ”Proclaim 16” that was held in Nashville, Tennessee from Feb. 23 to 26, 2016. Warren said even though the early years of his marriage with wife Kay was extremely difficult, nothing could have prepared them for the day when their 27-year-old son decided to take his own life after a lengthy battle with depression and mental illness. Kay and Rick Warren of Saddleback Church. “He came to me one day with tears in his eyes and said, ‘Dad it’s pretty clear the Lord isn’t going to heal me.’ Every day, his brain said, ‘Die,’” Warren said, according to the Gospel Herald. “Your illness is not your identity, and your chemistry is not your character.” It was because of God and the Warren family’s strong support system that they were able to heal after Matthew’s suicide. Warren shared that they received countless letters of support, but the ones that truly touched their hearts were not from “kings and ambassadors and presidents,” but from those whom Matthew led to Jesus Christ. Warren wrote in his journal back then, “In God’s garden of grace, every broken tree bears fruit.” He added that “pain can obscure God’s promises, but it can’t nullify them.” Now, Warren finds comfort in the promise God gave to David when his infant son died. “I can’t bring him back to life,” Warren said of David’s words in 2 Samuel 12:23. “He cannot come back to me, but one day I will go to him.” If his son’s death proved anything, said Warren, it’s the fact that the “greatest ministry comes not out of your strength but your weakness.” “We minister to people out of our weaknesses, not our strengths,” he explained. “Base your ministry not on your talent; base your ministry not on your abilities, not on your cleverness, not on your giftedness. Base your ministry on the promises of God.”

“My boss drove a luxury car everyday and it was my duty to greet him and to open the gates for him, as I worked as a watchman in his villa. But he never responded back to my greetings. One day he saw me opening the garbage bags outside the villa in search for any leftover food. But, as usual he never even looked at me, it was like as if he never saw anything! The very next day I saw a paper bag at the same place, but it was clean and the food inside was covered well. It was fresh and good food like someone had just brought it from the supermarket. I didn’t bother as to where it came from, I just took the paper bag and I was so happy about it. Every day I found this paper bag at the same place with fresh vegetables and all that we needed for home. This became my daily routine. I was eating and sharing this food with my wife and kids. I was wondering who this fool could be?! To forget his paper bag full of fresh food everyday. One day there was a big problem in the villa and I was told that my boss has died. There were too many guests coming to the villa that day and I didn’t get any food that day, so I thought that one of the guests must have taken it. But the same thing happened the 2nd day, the 3rd day and the 4th day. It went on like this for a few weeks and I found it difficult to provide food for my family, so I decided to ask the wife of my boss for a raise in my salary or else I would quit my job as a watchman. After I told her, she was shocked, and asked me, how come you never complained about your salary for the last 2 years? And why is this salary not enough for you now? I gave her so many excuses but she was never convinced! Finally in the end, I decided to tell her the truth, I told her the entire story of the bag of groceries, and as to how it was my daily provision. She then asked me as to when this stopped? I told her after the death of her husband. And then I realized that I stopped seeing the paper bag immediately after the death of my boss. Why didn’t I ever think of this before? That it was my boss who was providing this for me? I guess it was because I never thought that a person who never replied to my greetings could ever be this generous! His wife started to cry and I told her to please stop crying and that I’m really sorry that I asked for a raise, I didn’t know that it was your husband who was providing me with the meals, I’ll remain as a watchman and be happy to provide my service. His wife told me, I’m crying because I’ve finally found the 7th person my husband was giving this bag full of food. I knew my husband was giving 7 people everyday, I had already found the 6 people, and all these days I was searching for the 7th person. And today I found out. From that day onwards, I started to receive the bag full of food again, but this time his son was bringing it to my house and giving it to my hand. But whenever I thanked him, he never replied! Just like his dad! One day, I told him THANK YOU in a very loud voice! He replied back to me to please not be offended when he doesn’t reply, because he has a hearing problem, just like his dad!” Oh! We have been wrong so many times judging others without knowing the true story behind their actions. Be kind and courteous in dealing with others, for everyone is fighting a hard battle. Be careful, not everything is about you. Before you assume, there is this thing called ASKING. Don’t just jump to conclusion, because that is truly not an exercise, it may cause you more harm at the end of the day. Many of our problems are caused by how we process what happens around us. Don’t judge a situation you have never been in. Be humble enough to learn. You do not know it all. Lets change the way we feel about ourselves and others. There are two sides to a story. Jesus Christ’s image ‘appears’ in ultrasound image of Argentine woman’s unborn child Reuters A devotee touches an image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus inside a Catholic church. The face of Jesus Christ reportedly appeared in the ultrasound image of the unborn child of a 29-year-old pregnant woman from Argentina, who has already suffered miscarriages in the past. The woman, identified by her first name “Fanny,” said she dreamt of the Sacred Heart of Jesus before she had her ultrasound. She also said that she had no plans of visiting the doctor that day but later felt compelled to have an ultrasound test only for her to see a seemingly divine image in the scan of her womb. “The six-month scan was pretty strange because that day I had not planned to have an ultrasound. When we got home I realised that you can clearly see the face of Christ in the photo,” Fanny said in an article on The Express. She also recalled that there were also no plans to have the ultrasound image printed, but a student doctor volunteered to do so because he found the little foot of her unborn child cute. To their surprise, the ultrasound image of the child appeared to have the bearded image of the Messiah under her, as if carrying her and taking care of her. Fanny said the revelation further bolstered her faith in God. “This is when I knew without a doubt that He had not abandoned us,” the woman said after the experience. “I will never lose faith. I put all my trust in God, who throughout the pregnancy gave me various signs,” she added. Three months after the miraculous image appeared, Fanny gave birth to her daughter Alfonsia last Sept. 21 in the northern city of Cordoba. The new mother could not express her happiness, having seen the image of Christ while overcoming the challenge posed by her past miscarriages due to thrombosis. Until now, the image of the child’s ultrasound scan which appears to show Jesus Christ’s face is still circulating in social media websites. Some netizens have expressed doubts, even calling the image “more Donald Duck” than Jesus Christ. But most were fascinated by what they saw. “You can see Him alright, I believe with all my heart, Amen to that,” one person who saw the image said. The ultrasound photo can be seen here.
