Do you even need XML-RPC ?

In a perfect world, all of the core system functions which were intended for convenience when updating and securing the server system when running a wordpress installation does not contribute to your websites security. Unfortunately, that isn’t always the case.  Disabling XML-RPC is wise as it improves your site security and hopefully decreases unnecessary brute force attacks which can cripple server resources.

Its best practice to remove the XML-RPC function if you aren’t using a remote connection or Jetpack. We have disabled this function – so please stop trying.
