We are all working around the clock, collecting affidavits & statements from Sodwana Bay locals & Mozambique locals, in order to bring justice for John & to assist the authorities.
If you saw Visser in Sodwana Bay prior to the incident on 16 March, WE NEED YOUR STATEMENT PLEASE. Several local Sodwana people saw Visser in town & several saw him WASHING HIS CLOTHES in the river. WE URGENTLY NEED THESE WITNESSES to provide statements as these are pivotal to the case. Visser’s story is that John Matambu accepted a R20k bribe from him to have a holiday in Mozambique. For goodness sake!! But Visser burnt the very boat which would take John home, & Visser traded the 2 fishing rods for a night’s accommodation in a hut, a meal & $10.
I’m told that the Sodwana Bay boat assistant on 16th March spoke to Visser, regarding the backpack & motorbike helmet which Visser took on board the charter. Please get that statement for us.
Please help us now with anything that you saw. Even if it was as simple as seeing Visser in town. What was he doing? What was he wearing?
The pain is unbearable. We cannot sleep and we’re all struggling…
