Ephesians 4:32

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”

It’s easier said than done.

When it comes to ourselves, we tend to want full-on forgiveness all the time but why do we then like to hold others wrongs alive? When it comes to us being hurt, it is all together a different story. We believe we do not have to forgive. The truth is, we forget this crucial truth; we also have been forgiven and saved from the fires of hell. [Matthew 18:21-35]

For we now have to reciprocate the same love and heart that Christ showed and gave us. It’s easier said than done; we also want to payback and let others feel how much they have hurt us. But this kind of behavior is not Christ like and should be dealt with immediately. How will the world around us know that we are different from them?

Let’s Pray:

Father, I am foolish and love to play judge over others. Please, I am sorry for holding on to wrongs. Forgive me.

Teach me the way of your kingdom—the ways of your heart.

In Jesus’ name. Amen!
