A company is looking for an Acquisition Specialist to manage multiple acquisition efforts and support project management training and development.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct acquisition planning and strategy development, including market research and documentation support
Generate and maintain databases for subcontracting actions and procurement requests
Support the development of project/program managers through training and mentoring initiatives
Required Qualifications and Education
Must possess a degree and understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
Certification Required: PMP or a comparable certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire)
Must be a professional self-starter with strong organizational skills
Experience in both traditional and Agile environments is desired
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly SharePoint, MS Teams, and Excel
